ANNOUNCEMENTS
Activity Days for 2010 - All activity days will be run on a Monday this year due to staff availability.
Costs for Activity Days this year will be $5 per head, maximum $15 per family.
Activities to be run at our days this year include:
- Music with Ross and Jo Walker
- Christian Clowning with Harvest Ministries
- Cartooning with Brian Doyle
- Illustrating with Peter Taylor
- Art with Glenda Kelly
- Sport with Tim Miller
- Cool Science with Joshua Avenell
- Indigenous Studies and other activities run by The ArtsortedWorx in Toowoomba
Brisbane Southside Activity Days:
All southside activity days will be held at the Mt. Gravatt Showgrounds unless otherwise announced via this website or our newsletter. There may be some changes due to the availability of the showground facilities, especially around the Mt. Gravatt show days.
Dates for the Brisbane South Activity Days for 2010 are:
Term 1: 8th February; 8th March. (Music, Art, plus one other activity TBA)
Term 2: 12th April; 10th May. (Music, Cartooning, plus one other activity TBA)
Term 3: 12th July; 13th September (NB. No Activity Day in August due to the Ekka Holiday) (Music, Science, Sport)
Term 4: 11th October; 8th November. (Music, Clowning, Illustrating)
Gold Coast Activity Days:
The Gold Coast Activity Days will be run at the Gold Coast Baptist Church in 2010 - 20-22 White St, Nerang.
Dates for the Gold Coast Activity Days for 2010 are:
Term 1: 22nd February; 22nd March. (Music, Science, Clowning)
Term 2: 24th May (NB. There will be no activity days in April due to the Anzac Day public holiday) (Music, Illustrating, + TBA)
Term 3: 26th July; 23 August (Music, Sport, Art)
Term 4: 25th October; 22nd November (Music, Cartooning, TBA)
Toowoomba Activity Days:
The Toowoomba Activity Days will continue to be run at the Toowoomba Community Baptist Church, 100 Glenvale Rd.
Dates for Toowoomba are:
Term 1: 15th February; 15th March (Ah, beware.the Ides of March!!) (Music, Cartooning, Art)
Term 2: 19th April; 17th May; 21st June (NOTE: Toowoomba Swimming Carnival will be on 20th April) (Music, Science, Indigenous Studies)
Term 3: 19th July; 16th August. (Music, Illustrating, Drama)
Term 4: 18th October; 15th November (Music, Clowning, Drama/Art)
Brisbane Northside Activity Days:
The days will continue to be run at the Caboolture Campus of ACC-M - 34 Cottrill Rd, Caboolture.
The dates are:
Term 1: 1st February; 1st March (Music, Clowning, Illustrating)
Term 2: 7th June (NOTE: There is no activity day in May due to the Labour Day public holiday) (Music, Sport, Art)
Term 3: 2nd August; 6th September (Music, Cartooning, plus one other activity TBA)
Term 4: 4th October; 1st November (Music, Science, Drama/Storytelling)

Northside Swimming Carnival - Wednesday, 24th March, at the Bribie Island Swimming Pool
Gold Coast/Southside Swimming Carnival - 25th March, at Nerang Pool.
